*These nights are for parents and guardians only.

We are looking for volunteers to support the following committees:

Ram Reader  

Ram Reader is our annual read-a-thon that we conduct to support the KDKA Turkey Fund. Committee will coordinate communications to parents through e-news, coordinate special guest readers for classes, decorate, and track minutes/books read and money raised.

Wexford R.O.C.K.S. (Reaching Out to Communities with Kindness)

Wexford ROCKS is a school wide (K-3) outreach program that meets throughout the school year after school or in the evening. Students and families will work on projects that benefit people/organizations within the Pittsburgh community.

Book Room

The book room is available for all teachers to take additional reading resources for their classroom.  This committee is responsible for working with the teacher representatives to ensure the room is organized and see what materials may be needed.

Behind the Scenes 

Behind the Scenes is a volunteer opportunity to help any and all staff members needing help with “Behind the Scenes” tasks.  Some tasks may include, tracing, cutting, laminating projects, hole punching note cards, sharpen pencils, etc.  The tasks requested can be done at school or even take home for you to take home and complete in your free time watching TV or sitting at a sporting practice.  Teachers provide all the materials.
